"Quick Slip Me A Bride" Auditions/Workshop 1

Talking Lens Productions would like to say thank you to all the staff of the Wakefield Theatre Royal Host Media Centre, and West Yorkshire Playhouse for their assistance with our call back workshops.

We would also like to thank all the following actors who made the workshops an overwhelming success.

We will not be casting until after the London auditions so please be patient, although we do have a fairly long short list. Everybody has talent though some more than others. Yet realistically when an actor is not chosen for a particular part sometimes it is simply that they are just not right for the part and that is no reflection on their ability.

Feedback :

*Hi Raza and crew, I just wanted to say thank you to you all for a thoroughly entertaining workshop..I really enjoyed the whole experience...it was a real learning curve in working in film.I have just had confirmation of the dates for flying to Berlin...(18th July until- August 3rd)  after these dates I am back in West Yorkshire. Russell Shaw, from Huddersfield.

*Dear Raza, Once again I thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable workshop on Friday. I write to positively reiterate my enthusiasm for your production. I found many of the extreme farcical elements within the script to be wonderfully colored with innocent humor, while the plotted undertones based on human nature were loaded with thought provoking observation. The script you've produced stimulates humor and intrigue on many levels, whilst your obvious passion for development and detail enthused my interest in working with you. Thank you for the time you have given.Good luck with all further developments. I do hope to hear from you soon. Yours sincerely, Miranda Benjamin.

*The websites looking great and the games have certainly begun. Once again, thanks for inviting me to participate in the workshop . I was pleasantly surprised by the scripts' depth and diversity of character and some of the performances from fellow workshoppers would certainly add that X-factor to the movie (so use them!)  Who would have thought "the Full Monty", a low budget feature based in Sheffield , would have captured the public's imagination worldwide? Well you too have got a highly original plot, one to my knowledge hasn't been covered in the cinema , that of an interacial relationship via the internet with all the colour of Bollywood, earthiness of Wakefield and Raza-matazz of Tom Jones...something for everyone. All the best , Giles Miller

*Dear All,  Well, what can I say? I'm not as eloquent as those who've posted comments before me, but i think they have summed up what everyone thought (by the  way Giles, appalling pun sir!). And it was great to be at an audition that  had people genuinely supporting each other! I would like to wish everyone who attended the workshop the best of British luck, and I will definitely  see the film, whether i appear in it or not, because it is looking likely to be the first DECENT British film in a long while! Many thanks once more!  Aaron Kelly

*Great Day, Great Script, Great Characters, Great People, Great Potential, Great Experience, Great Thanks!! Sophie Abelson

*Dear Raza, I just wanted to put pen to paper to convey a huge thank you  for inviting me to the reading last Friday. The workshop was informative and good fun and the script, exceptionally entertaining  and most memorable, which has intrigued and captured my imagination. It was a real pleasure to finally meet you and the crew, who made sure the afternoon was as relaxed and comfortable as was possible. Very best wishes, Jo Menzer.

Well done the following who attended a very productive day's workshop
